The AT&T Williams Team would return to testing with a four day test at the circuit Jerez de la Frontera in Spain. On a day that saw rain fall in the morning the track would dry out in the afternoon allowing the team to return to their test schedule.

Nineteen year old Spaniard Dani Clos would return to test again with the Williams team. He was the only car on the track during the day. Dani was able to set a time of 1m:22.558. He would complete seventy nine laps. A full scale test would commence eon Tuesday. The Williams team would use the day to test the teams KERS system as well as further testing with slick tyres.

Clos would speak of his days testing by saying: " I am very satisfied although it has rained, that way the team also could have valued me for this type of so complicated conditions, being one of the most positive things of the day, since I have not committed any error in a few really difficult conditions. I have completed eighty laps without incident and rolling in good and stable times, so really I am satisfied of my work and of the team "

Williams race driver Kazuki Nakajima will over testing duties for the team on the second day.

Williams F1  Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford commented: “Today we ran Dani Clos in the FW30B interim car and concentrated on development work of the KERS and general chassis set-up work. Tonight we will convert the car for Kazuki who will take over driving duties tomorrow.”
