 Jerez Test 16:12:2008 Day Two

Day two of the AT&T Williams teams Jerez test would see the team having to cope with cold & icy weather conditions in the morning which delayed the start of the teams test programme.

Kazuki Nakajima would re-join the team to carry out the last two days of testing, in what is the teams final test for 2008. Kazuki continued focus on the team's test schedule continuing their development work including slick tyre evaluations, aero tests and set-up optimisation.

Over the course of the day, Kazuki completed 105 laps with a fastest time of 1:20.332.

Williams F1 Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford commented: “Kazuki was on duty today and took over from where Nico Hulkenberg left off yesterday, continuing with tyre testing and general set-up work. We lost a small amount of track time this morning due to the icy  weather, but the car has been running well and we’ve had no other problems. Kazuki will continue in the car tomorrow for our last day of testing this year.”
