The third day of the AT&T Williams Jerez test would be the final day behind the wheel for Nico Rosberg. Nico would continue the development work on the FW31. The day would see wet conditions in the morning but the weather would improve allowing the team some valuable dry running. He would complete a 125 laps during the course of the day. Kazuki Nakajima takes over the driving duties for day four.

For the AT&T Williams team
the third day of the teams five day Jerez test would see a return to sunnier
conditions after a day of wet weather. The showers stopped shortly before
the start of testing and after around two hours the track would dry out
allowing dry running for the rest of the day.
Again it was Nico Rosberg
behind the wheel as the team continued their preparations of the FW31. The
team would continue to use the shark fins that were seen on the car on the
first day.
Nico would finish the day with the slowest time, 1m:21.412, some 1.5 seconds
off the pace. But Nico was again able to put in a large number of laps, 125,
as the team worked though their test schedule.
Williams F1 Technical
Director Sam Michael commented: “Nico had his last day in the car this week
and concluded his run with set-up work for the majority of the day. He then
carried out some aero and mechanical tests. It was quite wet on track this
morning but it then dried out for the afternoon session which allowed us to
get some good track time in. Kazuki will take over tomorrow.”
