For the AT&T
Williams team the 2010 Singapore would see their drivers finish in sixth and
ninth with Rubens Barrichello leading home team-mate Nico Hulkenberg. For
Rubens his race was one of seeing hi9s excellent sixth place grid position
come to nothing as he would lose several places off the start.
The
rest of his race saw his troubled with issues with his brakes which, despite
the appearance of the Safety Car on several occasions, saw him struggle to
make an forward movement. His sixth place would come about mainly from the
retirement of other drivers in front of him.
As for Nico
Hulkenberg his race would see him start from seventeenth after having to
take a five place grid penalty. He would spend his race travelling with a
group of cars, one being the Force India of Sutil. Nico was not able to find
a way past the Force India and would finish behind Sutil. But Sutil would
lose his eighth-place finish
following a twenty second penalty as the stewards deemed
he had gained an advantage for going around the outside of Turn seven on the
opening lap of the race.
This penalty would move Sutil down to tenth. As a result Nico would move up
to eighth. |
