The results of the final practice session for the 2013 Abu Dhabi GP would see both Williams F1 drivers outside the top ten. Valtteri Bottas would finish in 13th while team-mate Pastor Maldonado was in 16th. There is  again a big question mark hanging over how the pair will go in qualifyiong.

The final practice session for the 2013 Abu Dhabi would get underway with both Williams F1 drivers, Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas, taking to the track to complete a single installation lap prior to pitting. The Williams team mechanics would complete their normal post installation checks with Pastor's mechanics check the rear of his car.. Everyone was running on the medium tyre for their first runs as several drivers returned to the track for their first timed laps. It would be Pic who would set a 1m:50.512 but he was quickly beaten by Van der Gar with a 1m:47.898. We had both Force India and Lotus cars out on the track joined by both Marussia cars.

Both Torro Rosso cars were also out as Bianchi set a 1m:57.107 to be third. Raikkonen would go fastest with a 1m:45.026 while behind him Di Resta was second but was passed by Vergne with a 1m:45.285. Both Williams drivers were out on the track running on the medium tyre as Vettel went fastest with a time of 1m:44.117. Pastor's first lap was a 1m:45.658 to be fifth. Valtteri had set a 1m:50.504 on his first slow lap. Raikkonen would go fastest with a 1m:43.949 with Vettel now second and Grosjean now third. Valtteri's next lap would be a 1m:44.727 to see him fourth while Pastor had dropped to eighth. Pastor would find time with a 1m:44.895 to be sixth with Di Resta now seventh. Behind the Force India was Ricciardo followed by Pic, and Van der Gar in tenth. Pastor would go fastest in sector two while Valtteri was also on a quicker lap.

Pastor would fail to improve his time while Valtteri would set a 1m:44.346 but remained fourth. Button was now ninth with Rosberg now tenth. We had yet to see times from Hamilton, Massa, Alonso, Perez, and Webber with thirty four minutes remaining. Vergne was fifth but this would become sixth as Hamilton went second with a 1m:43.872. Hulkenberg was now seventh as both Williams drivers pitted. Valtteri was currently fifth and Pastor eighth as Webber went fastest in sector two. Button would go sixth with a 1m:44.653 as Webber would go second with a 1m:43.823. It was confirmed that both Williams cars were running exhausts that came out of the bodywork rather than the complicated system that they had tried previously. Some of these developments were coming from the 2014 regulations.

Both Ferrari's were at the rear of the field as Rosberg went fourth with a 1m:43.896. Valtteri had dropped to seventh while Pastor was now eleventh. Massa was now thirteenth and Alonso fifteenth with over half the session completed. Rosberg would go fastest with a 1m:43.784 followed by Vettel and Webber. Hamilton was fourth followed by Raikkonen, Button, Grosjean and Valtteri. Everyone was out on the track except Button and Alonso. Hamilton was now second with a time of 1m:43.785 to be just 0.001 behind his team-mate. Valtteri was now on a run comparing front wings while at the front Vettel would again go fastest with a 1m:43.541 but just as quickly Rosberg would go faster with a 1m:43.465. Hamilton would pit with Perez back in his garage with out having set a time. Twenty minutes remaining in the session with both Hamilton and Rosberg pitting. Valtteri was currently eighth while Pastor had dropped to thirteenth.

Vettel would go fastest in sector one but he would pit at the end of the lap. Sutil was now ninth with a 1m:44.500 with Bianchi spinning at Turn one ending up pointing the wrong direction with some damage to his car. This would see a yellow flag come out and the field all pitting. Rosberg was fastest with a time of 1m:43.465s, 0.054s ahead of Webber in second, with Vettel third and Hamilton fourth. The track was now empty as they recovered Bianchi's car. Drivers would start to come out on the option tyre with Button out first joi9ned by both Sauber's and Rosberg. Hamilton was next along with Alonso. Valtteri would be first back out for Williams along with both Force India cars as Button went fastest in sector one and two. Raikkonen was also out on the track as Rosberg went fastest in sector one as Button set a 1m:41.956 to be quickest as Hulkenberg went second with a 1m:42.055. The times were tumbling as Vettel was told he would get three timed laps on the soft tyre.

Gutierrez was now third followed by Alonso as Hamilton went fastest with a 1m:41.580 as Rosberg finished with a 1m:42.039 to be third. Pastor was also back out on the track as Valtteri went seventh with a 1m:42.698 as Vettel went fastest in sector one. Ricciardo was now eighth as Raikkonen went fifth with a 1m:42.387 with Alonso pitting with four minutes remaining. Vergne was now seventh as Valtteri dropped to tenth. Hamilton would improve with a 1m:41.580 while Rosberg was now third, 1m:41.721.

Di Resta would improve to be twelfth pushing Valtteri down to thirteenth and Pastor now sixteenth. The session would come to an end with Webber on his final lap going fastest in sector one. He would finish with a 1m:41.571 to be second 0,222 behind Vettel. Hamilton was third from Rosberg, Grosjean, Button, Hulkenberg, Gutierrez, Raikkonen, and Vergne tenth. Alonso was down in eleventh and Massa fourteenth. For Williams Valtteri would finish in thirteenth and fifteenth with Valtteri faster than Pastor for the first time this weekend.
