As a result checks on the Lotus of of Kimi Raikkonen it was announced that he would be excluded from the results of qualifying for the 2013 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

It was found that his Lotus failed the FIA's mandatory floor deflection test. This will see Raikkonen start from the rear of the grid.

Raikkonen's penalty means Nico Hulkenberg's Sauber now starts in the top five, behind the two Red Bulls and two Mercedes. Alonso's Ferrari will now start from inside the top ten.

For the Williams F1 team the change will see Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas move forward one spot with Pastor now in fourteenth and Valtteri fifteenth.
