The final practice for the 2016 Canadian GP would see the Williams Martini team finish with their drivers 10th and 12th. After a frustrating Friday where he crashed Felipe Massa was able to finish ahead of his team-mate in 10th with Valtteri Bottas 12th. Both drivers would focus on runs using the ultrasoft tyre. The team would have to adjust their programme with light rain falling briefly late in the session but it would come to nothing when the session was red flagged and not restarted.
