The Williams Martini team would produce their best result so far in the 2018 season with qualifying for the 2018 Italian GP seeing the Williams dirvers finish in 10th and 12th. Both drivers would make it into the second period of qualifying but it would be Lance Stroll who would progress to the final period. After a single run Lance would finish 10th but he was just 0.1 ahead of team-mate Sergey in 12th. A massive turn around for the Williams team after the difficulties seen in the previous races. Now it is down to both drivers to secure a points scoring result from Sunday's race.
