ROKiT Williams Racing is pleased
to announce PONOS as an Official Partner of the team. The game development
company based in Kyoto, Japan has consistently contributed to the
development of the entertainment culture through games since its
establishment in 1990.
The spread of the internet and smartphones has enabled PONOS to deliver
their unique games without having to rely on a specific platform, which has
in turn allowed them to reach a much wider demographic globally. Working in
partnership, Williams and PONOS will be creating exciting content across the
ROKiT Williams Racing social and digital network.
The brand’s logo will make its debut on the FW42 at the 2019 United States
Grand Prix and continue to appear on the FW43 next year. There will be
additional branding on other trackside assets for the 2020 FIA Formula One
World Championship season.
Claire Williams, Deputy Team Principal of ROKiT Williams Racing commented,
“We are pleased to announce a partnership with PONOS, a company that has
consistently contributed to the development of the entertainment culture
through games. We are delighted to work with the Japanese business and look
forward to helping them achieve their objectives of building branding
awareness through the global sport of Formula One.”
Yorikatsu Tsujiko, CEO of PONOS said, “I have been interested in motorsports
since childhood and have had a growing admiration for Formula One. ROKiT
Williams Racing, with its glorious history, have shaken the heart of its
fans, touched their hearts and given them big dreams. I decided to partner
with ROKiT Williams Racing as I have personally seen the glory of the team.
I feel the hope and excitement, and I want to share that with the world.
At PONOS, we endeavour to create smiles and positivity through the games we
create. I believe this will lead to our vision to pursue entertainment
possibilities that contribute to the creation of dreams.” |
