The results of the second friday practice session for the 2022 Australian GP would see the Williams Racing Team continue their difficult start to the weekend with both drivers well down the times. Alex Albon and Nicholas Latifi would finish in 17th and 19th after a FP2 that both both drivers improve their lap times on their soft tyre runs but would remain well down the order. But at least Nichols had close the gap somewhat to his team-mate. Even so it was not the most of encouraging starts to the weekend.
