Gene to replace Ralf?
 
With BMW WilliamsF1 driver Ralf Schumacher yet to receive clearance that he can compete this weekend at Monza the team has announced that Marc Gene will be his replacement.

A WilliamsF1 spokesman said: "We are confident Ralf will race but, if there are any doubts, [Marc] Gene will step in."

Ralf crashed his car heavily while testing at Monza, spending the night in hospital with concussion. Ralf will have a medical examination by Professor Sid Watkins at Monza tomorrow before he is cleared to race.
