| Hakkinen unsure about future | |
Double world champion Mika
Hakkinen was in Monaco and at a press conference would not commit himself to
a return to Grand Prix racing. Hakkinen
spent time with the McLaren team but refused to be drawn on whether he would
be returning to the team. Despite thins Mika did admit that he missed the
feeling of winning. Mika said:
"I have quite a few weeks before I need to make a decision. There's plenty of time, I'm not getting stressed about it. I
just want to enjoy the weekend and see how things go."Hakkinen added that he believed the McLaren team would have a car available for him should he want to return. Ron Dennis said: "There was always a contract. It's just a decision that Mika has to take, and then we have to make a response." |
