Teams told to uncover cars

It has been the practice of the majority of teams to "hide" their cars behind covers or roller doors so that no one can take photos or examine the cars for new technical improvements.

Well this practice is now going to stop after the FIA issued and order to remove 'screens' which prevent fans and media from looking at the cars. The teams must now work on 'open door' policy, as a new instruction has been issued banning the use of screens in front of the garages.

After an incident in Canada in 2001 where fans were not able to see the cars after they had paid for a pitwalk, moves were made to see such a practice not occur. Now with the FIA order fans will be able to once again view the cars.
