| After the
running of the Canadian Grand Prix it was revealed that both the BMW
WilliamsF1 and Toyota teams were under investigation for running illegal
brake ducts. After three hours an official announcement was made by the FIA
which said that the cars from both teams had been excluded from the results
of the race.
