WilliamsF1's new recruit Mark Webber his thoughts have already looking ahead
towards the 2005 season and the opening race in Melbourne.
In
an interview for the Melbourne newspaper the Herald Sun for the WilliamsF1
team to end their 2004 season with a win, courtesy of Juan Pablo Montoya,
was a great lift for the WilliamsF1 team and Webber himself. But he still
acknowledges that the fact that there is a considerable amount of work to do
prior to the first race of the season.
Webber said: "Williams have
won which is fantastic. I couldn't ask for a better start to the winter.
Juan's result is a great result for the team and the team's morale over the
winter, and for me too.
"But there is a long winter ahead. Melbourne will come around very quickly
but we have got a lot of work to do. I can't go to Melbourne with any other
ambition but to win. Williams is about winning.
"Coming second helps for the championship, but wins are bloody important and
we have to be winning from the start. But Williams have been around a long
time and there is a lot to be done. Plus there will be lots to change before
we get to the first race." |
