The BMW WilliamsF1 test team returned to the circuit de Catalunya for another round of testing at the Spanish circuit. Both WilliamsF1 test drivers, Marc Gene and Antonio Pizzonia, were present. The team is testing in preparation for the forthcoming British Grand Prix.

Pizzonia would finish the day with the second fastest time with a lap of 1m:20.008, after completing over 100 laps. Team-mate Gene would be back in sixth as he conducted suspension development testing.
