Heidfeld tests for WilliamsF1

As previously reported Nick Heidfeld joined the BMW WilliamsF1 team for his scheduled test with the team. But wet weather in the morning limited his time on the track.

Nick HeidfeldFor Heidfeld this test is his time to convince team management that he should be signed by the team for the 2005 season. Heidfeld would complete thirty nine laps in the morning as he familiarised himself with the FW26. Heidfeld will run with Mark Webber today and Antonio Pizzonia, one of his rivals for the full time drive with the team, on Thursday.

Heidfeld's test was scheduled for next week but due to the fact issues regarding Anthony Davidson testing with the team have not been settled the German drivers test was brought forward.
