| Webber criticises Pizzonia | |
| In an
interview for Gazzetta dello Sport WilliamsF1 driver Mark Webber has come
out and publicly criticised Antonio Pizzonia for the claims that Antonio
made in regard to Mark been given preferential treatment when they both were
drivers at Jaguar. This war of words between the pair has been going on for sometime but now takes on a more significance given that there is a strong chance that the pair will be driving together for the WilliamsF1 team in 2005. Previously Pizzonia had claimed that he was treated badly while at Jaguar. These claims are something that Webber challenges.
In the interview Webber said:
"He knows he's been telling lies. He says his car was different from mine?
It's all bullshit. But if he really thinks so, then he's a loser. The truth
is that Antonio was fast in testing, but couldn't do as well in the races.
If Pizzonia is selected to move from his current testing role to that of a fulltime driver for the WilliamsF1 team will we see a continuation of this war of words between the pair. It may be a difficult task for WilliamsF1 management to smooth things out between the pair. |
