| FIA reviews Team Orders | |
| As a result of the recent
uproar in certain quarters over Ferrari's use of team orders at the Austrian
Grand Prix the FIA has commenced a review of team orders in Formula One. For
the first time the FIA will allow the public to have a say. Currently there are no rules covering the use of team orders and as such, even if the FIA had wanted to penalise the Ferrari team for its actions, they were not able to do so. The FIA Working Group will
gather opinions from anyone ranging from fans to Team personnel about team
orders and whether a rule should be introduced that prevents staged
finishes. |
