After driving in
Friday's Free Practice sessions yesterday, Nick experienced a strong
headache and this morning, together with the team, decided not to continue
his on track duties.
Nick crashed whilst testing at the Autodromo di Monza at Lesmo One on August
26th, and will now rest for a few days to recuperate completely in order to
return to the cockpit as soon as possible.
Nick said: "I spoke with Gary Hartstein and Sid Watkins this morning and
they both recommended that I did not drive."
The team's test and reserve driver Antonio Pizzonia (BRA) will take Nick's
place in the WilliamsF1 BMW FW27 for the rest of the weekend. This will be
Antonio's 16th Grand Prix. His last race was here, in Monza. |
