Montoya on vacation

While both BMW and the WilliamsF1 team continue work on this years cars and engines, as well as those been developed for 2003, BMW WilliamsF1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has the luxury of getting away from the pressures of racing by enjoying some time off during the three week break between the German and Hungarian Grand Prix.

For Juan Pablo this has meant heading to the United States. This is a time for Juan Pablo to relax. Juan Pablo explained what he would be doing: "I'm looking forward to kite-surfing for a few days. For the rest of the time I just want to idle in the sun."

Even though he has this time to get away from it all it does not take long for the Colombian to get back to remembering what he wants to achieve in the final races of the season.

Juan Pablo added: "I want to improve permanently. Last year I finished sixth in the rankings, at the moment I'm second. Actually that would be quite an improvement."

As for 2003 his only comments concerned the lack of a similar break during the season in which drivers can remove themselves from racing. He added: "With horror I saw that we won't have such a break in 2003. That's very annoying."
