On a day that
would see clearer conditions the WilliamsF1 team would continue their three
day Silverstone test. Mark Webber would join Nico Rosberg, replacing Alex
Wurz. Both drivers would continue the teams preparations for the British
Grand Prix.
Both
Mark and Nico would test various brake materials as well as conducting
further tyre evaluations. Nico would finish the day in sixth with a time of
1m:19.643. Mark was two places back in eighth with a time of 1m:20.186.
WilliamsF1 Test Team Manager Mike Condliffe commented: “Mark and Nico tested
alternative brake materials in the morning and then concentrated on tyre
compound tests in the afternoon to give us a direction for the race here in
June. We continue testing here tomorrow with Mark and Alex and expect a dry
weather forecast.” |
