JPM to NASCAR

Juan Pablo Montoya will be out of the McLaren team and out of Formula One as a whole for the 2007 season as the feisty Columbian makes a return to the US to race in NASCAR.

Juan Pablo will drive for the Chip Ganassi Racing team after just 7 seasons in Formula One. Those seven seasons seemed to be packed with ups and downs for Juan Pablo, unfortunately with the low points mostly being experienced at McLaren Mercedes, with Montoya not living up to the hype which said he was an imminent F1 champion.

We wish Juan Pablo all the best for 2007 and beyond, even if his McLaren career didn't pan out as hoped.
