Hamilton Hopes Mclaren take risk

Britains racing superstar hopes that the Mclaren Mercedes Formula one team will take the risk of partnering him with world champion Fernando Alonso next season. Hamilton managed to take the Gp2 championship by storm this year for the ART team. Hamilton is quoted to say this:

"It's a tough decision for the team and for Mercedes," said Hamilton who would potentially be Fernando Alonso's team mate. "It's a risk because I've not tested the car yet, so no-one knows if I'll be quick or not. It depends on whether they're willing to take that risk."

"At the end of the day it's the team's decision," he added. "I feel I've got a good relationship with everyone there and feel they'd be happy for me to drive as a test or race driver. In the past they've been very loyal to me, so we'll just have to see what happens."

Will he be the new driver for Mclaren? Only time will tell.
