Nelson Piquet Jr who finsih runner up in the GP2 championship finished at the top of the time sheets today at silverstone. Our rising star Lewis Hamilton finished the day off in 6th and was only 0.9 seconds away from team mate De La Rosa. But Hamilton made it clear that he only wanted to get an experience of an f1 car not to chase the fastest time. Speaking to itv he said that "Im really pleased to have made my full test debut with Team Mclaren Mercedes."
