The second day of testing at Barcelona was hit with bad weather, heavy rain hit the circuit overnight, which left teams forced to extend their test until Thursday.

Teams are at the circuit to try out new aerodynamic parts for the upcoming race at the Spanish circuit. Fernando Alonso who was testing for McLaren on the second day, decided to go out for one lap, to test out the conditions, and to give the Spanish fans something to cheer about.

The day was relatively quiet, teams deciding not to do much mileage, as the forecast indicates a dry weekend, however this is long range weather forecast and this forecast could change anytime.

But teams are banking on it being dry, as none of the teams took full opportunity of the wet weather conditions. Testing will continue on Wednesday and Thursday, with Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso continuing testing the new McLaren.

Testing times will be shown below.
