Renault boss Flavio Briatore has told the world's press that he has set his team the challenge for the world championship next season. The flamboyant Italian says Renault has met all its performance targets over the past two years and is now on course to step up to Ferrari's level. He said: "Over the past three years we have performed to my targets. Our first year was a learning year, our second we won our first race and 2004 was slightly disappointing apart from Jarno's (Trulli) win in Monaco. But in 2005 I want my team to be challenging for wins regularly, like Ferrari, and at the end of the season I want to have won a world title."
