Toyota launch their latest F1 chariot, the TF105. The £250m car sets its hopes on second best status to Ferrari. Like all cars it has had its nose raised in an attempt to decrease frontal downforce.
Other changes include:
Mike Gascoyne designed the car, the first one he has had complete control of. He has said that the teams that would be able to preserve their tyres best would be the ones running at the front.
The combination of new signings Italian, Jarno Trulli and German, Ralf Schumacher has been described as perfect by Gascoyne (Technical Director.)
He said: "Both drivers are quick and proven race winners If anything has been said against them it's that they don't do it consistently enough."
The one problem with Toyota is that the mega bucks that they intended in using hasn't been used. This is their main downfall and could mean that results won't be as good as expected.
