Since Scuderia Toro Rosso remains the only F1 team that has yet to formally announce it's 2007 driver line-up, the speculation that either or both of the team's 2006 drivers might lose their seats continues unabated. Here is what each had to say on the issue in recent interviews While the rumour mill seems to place Scott Speed's seat in more jepoardy than Vitantonio Liuzzi's, the 23 year-old American seems to be quite confident that he will be back this year. "To me it has always been clear that I would race," he told the German website f1total.com. "I have signed a full time contract. I don't know why they haven't confirmed it yet, but I am sure that Gerhard has a reason."

For his part, Liuzzi is sounding a little more cautious in his statements. He told the Italian website f1grandprix.it: "I'm pretty sure I'll stay in the team, but I don't know why they still don't want to confirm. But after all, the team is theirs, so this kind of decision is up to them."
