Spyker lodge another protest against STR

If at first you don't succeed.... After having their initial protest rejected at Melbourne due to not getting it filed on time, Spyker has opted to try again at Sepang to challenge the "legality" of the STR2. This time, the letter was given to the stewards within the alloted timeframe. Spyker is following up on their long-standing assertion that the STR2 is in violation of the F1 regulations owing to the fact that Scuderia Toro Rosso did not design it "in house". For their part, the staff at STR has always maintained that the use of Red Bull Technologies as the chassis' designer fits within the regulations.

The stewards are expected to make their ruling on this issue prior to the start of the Friday practice session at Sepang.
