After his test with Scuderia Toro Rosso last December, it has been widely accepted that Champ Car ace Sebastien Bourdais would get more seat time with the squad from Faenza. On Monday it was annouced that the Frenchman will get two more opportunities to show what he can do behind the wheel, the first one comming this week at Paul Richard.
The second test is scheduled for July, when the team participates in the test session at Spa.
Desipte all of the hype that has surrounded the ongiong "relationship" between Bourdais and STR, he is playing down the notion that an offer to join the team in '08 is somehow a foregone conclusion. “There is nothing done,” he told his official website. “I am just very grateful to Toro Rosso for giving me the opportunity to show what I can do in a F1. It is an exciting opportunity, and I will give 100 percent.”
