Jordan have agreed sponsorship details with two organisations involved with the 2004 Chinese Grand Prix. China Central Television and Shanghai International Circuit Co Ltd logo's will adorn the EJ13 from the Malaysian Grand Prix on. The EJ13 and Jordan's image will be used by the broadcaster in their F1 promotions raising the teams profile in what Jordan considers to be a vitally important area.
"I am thrilled that Jordan Ford has been chosen by Shanghai International
Circuit and CCTV as their partner for commencing Chinese involvement in Formula
One," said Eddie Jordan. "The deal will ensure the popularity of both Formula
One and Jordan Ford in a vitally important region. We are looking forward to
working together on preparations for next year's inaugural Chinese Grand Prix
and I am sure Jordan Ford will be a big success with the Chinese people."
Jordan's fans are happy to see that the cars blank spaces are gradually being
filled and can feel more assured that the tough measures taken by the team and
the early season decisions will now start to pay off.
Meanwhile, there's a race on Sunday! ITV however don't seem to have
grasped the fact that there are now two qualifying sessions. Don't bother
getting up early on Friday to watch live, cos ITV will be showing the Friday
Qualifying Session at 12.00am on Saturday Morning. You can also have a lie
in on Saturday cos the Saturday qualifying session won't be shown until 2pm on
Saturday. You'll need to set your alarm for 6.45am on Sunday for the race
or 2pm for the replay.
