Giancarlo Fisichella, despite his win in Brazil has finished Jordan's best race of the season in 7th place scoring two world championship points for the Silverstone team.

In a race where conditions started dry, went wet, then came back again, the Italian made just one pit stop, keeping the EJ13 on the road, all be it two laps down on the winner Michael Schumacher.

Ralph Firman wasn't as lucky.  He made five stops, the first of which was for a new nose cone as he managed to thump the rear of Jos Verstappen's Minardi on the first lap.  After the rains came, he made further stops for tyres and eventually stopped after the front right suspension (presumably damaged in the accident) gave way.

The race as usual was not without it's controversy.  Michael Schumacher overtook under waved yellow flags and wasn't penalised.  Montoya was given a drive through penalty for a racing incident with Rubens Barrichello.  The FIA also have to answer a few questions over their refuelling rigs which managed to ensure that Giancarlo's pitstop took twice as long as it should have.

Reaction from the team later.
