Eddie's the Boss Jos.

When I'm ready

To his fans, Jos is "The Boss" but it would appear that Eddie Jordan has the upper hand when it comes to negotiations with the Dutchman for a drive for 2004.

Rumours on the net say that Jos and his management team is becoming increasingly impatient with Eddie and the team and want a decision on whether or not Verstappen gets the seat.

However, the team are due to test in Barcelona this week and have announced that Belgian driver Bas Leinders will be driving for at least one day of the four day test.

The Dutch however remain optimistic that Jos will be driving for Jordan this season, so much so that Jos' main sponsor Trust put a mock-up photograph of the EJ13 with Trust logo's on it's website.

Jordan is still considering it's options.  Nick Heidfeld has an agreement with the team for a drive and Ralph Firman has a contract so Jos and Trust are going to have to bring a massive amount of money to the team in order to shift Benson and Hedges off the rear wing.

Jordan no doubt will announce their drivers for the rest of the test perhaps tomorrow but we may be in for some surprises.
