Jos Verstappen fans have turned their attention away from Tom Walkinshaw to Eddie Jordan for their perceived ideas that he was responsible for the Dutch driver failing to secure a top F1 drive for 2004 reports The Sun newspaper.

"I have been absolutely stunned by the menace and vitriol these messages have contained. At first I shrugged them off but they became stronger and stronger and I feel it's time speak out and make the comments public." He said. 

It's become really unpleasant to think there are people in this world who could even think of sending these dreadful messages just because I didn't sign a driver. I've never known anything like it in the 30-odd years I've been involved in motor racing.  Since I signed Pantano, I've received hundreds of e-mails ranging from wishing me and my family dead to the team going broke.  I hope the hate mail ends. Verstappen's management have said they are trying to calm the situation."

Jos' fans are well know to be the most loyal and supportive of all of the drivers on the F1 grid and as the All About Arrows site found out, when they get upset, they really get upset.  However in this instance, it must be remembered that Eddie and the Team were not responsible for the breakdown in talks between themselves and Verstappen's sponsors.  Jos' own manager Huub Rottengather was the reason for the talks falling apart and the sooner his fans realise this the better.

Jordan Fans and the majority of Jos' fans cannot condone the actions of a few mindless individuals.  We will delete message board posts if they appear along these lines  .
