Giancarlo Fisichella has finished 9th overall after warm up for the Canadian Grand Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. At the end of the first practice, his EJ12 was running in 3rd place.
Takuma Sato ended the first session in 21st place after completing 15 laps. The team advise that he spent the hour long session testing various set-ups and wasn't out to put in any fast laps. Taku's second session bumped him up to 18th but if he was continuing his set up from the 1st session, the result isn't surprising.
Worryingly, BAR out performed Jordan in the second session with Olivier Panis finishing ahead of his team mate Jacques.
Signs are good for a decent qualifying session tomorrow afternoon and a dream of further championship points must be on the cards for the Silverstone Team.
