All the 2002 Marlboro Masters drivers gathered for a group photo at the end of the weekend of racing at Zandvoort in the Netherlands. Then, the Marlboro drivers thanked the spectators, throwing their caps into the crowd.

It was an action packed day with all sorts of motor sport events taking place, including a demonstration from Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro driver Luca Badoer. At 15.40 Badoer did a few laps of the Zandvoort track at the wheel of an F2001. He put in a lap of 1’19”088 to set a new lap record for the circuit, beating the time he actually set at this event last year.

“I feel like a regular at this event,” commented Luca. “It’s always a pleasure to come here. It is an opportunity to have some fun and entertain the crowd, which is always a big one here at Zandvoort.” In fact, on another sunny day at the Dutch track, around 45,000 spectators turned up for the races.

Apart from Badoer, stars of the calibre of Max Biaggi, Carlos Checa and Randy Mamola were also present.
