After the three week break since the German Grand Prix, the Formula 1 circus is back in action this weekend in Hungary.

There are a few changes in the paddock, as the Arrows team issued a statement a couple of days ago that the team would not be competing in the Hungarian Grand Prix, as talks continue about its future. Another change can be found in the Minardi camp, where Malaysian driver Alex Yoong is being replaced by Anthony Davidson. The Englishman will therefore be making his F1 debut this weekend, although he has covered a high mileage as a test driver with the BAR team.

There are no changes in the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro camp, with the F2002 in identical specification to the last race. However, the cars will be running much bigger wings as they use an aerodynamic package similar to that used at Monaco, in terms of downforce levels.

Usually, Hungary is one of the hottest weekends on the calendar, but with the bad weather currently affecting Eastern Europe, temperatures are currently much lower than usual and skies are overcast. There is a real chance of rain at some point today, although race day is expected to see a return to hot weather.

Usually, the F1 cars do not complete many laps on Friday, as the rarely used Hungaroring circuit tends to be very dirty on the first day of practice. However, the fact that it has rained here in the past few days and the actual threat of wet weather might see a change in this trend.
