Former ITV commentator and the voice of F1 Murray Walker has said that Ferrari are not to be blamed for being so dominant. In a similar tone to that of Ross Brawn the blame of Ferrari’s domination is to be laid at the door of our rivals. Walker points out the obvious that the Ferrari streak will at some point come to an end but he goes against the grain somewhat by suggesting Montoya wont be the one to beat Michael Schumacher.

"Schumacher will be beaten and it can't be too long until Ferrari's reign at the top comes to an end. If you look back in the history books you will see that there is always a period of dominance by a team,” said Walker speaking to The People newspaper.

"This doesn't mean the sport has become boring or that we should say Ferrari are ruining the sport. The people who we should blame are the other teams on the grid for not being able to progress as quickly."

"Schumacher will not carry on winning forever. Someone will come along and beat him. People thought that it would be Montoya but judging by this year's performance it looks like his brother Ralf will offer more of a threat."
