Current weather reports suggest that Indianapolis is to see mixed conditions over the race weekend. Showers of rain and periods of sun are predicted as the F1 circus rolls in to town.

Friday appears to be the most likely day for rain with showers being predicted for the afternoon, which could give us some wet action in free practice. Saturday is expected to be dull and wet in the morning but the sun is expected to have dried out the track in time for the qualifying session.

No rain is predicted for Sunday although the forecasters are saying it will be cloudy overhead keeping track temperatures down.
