Luca di Montezemolo watched the Japanese Grand Prix from home and after he witnessed the dominant 1-2 finish he spoke out on the season, which has seen Ferrari take the sport by the scruff of the neck and give it a good shake. Luca spoke about the great pleasure these results give him and all those associated with Ferrari.

“This year is the result of perfect teamwork, which reflect not only on the Gestione Sportiva but on all of Ferrari. And of course our sponsors and technical partners who have supported us on the long road which has led to a fourth consecutive Constructors’ Championship and a third consecutive Drivers’ title. A special word of thanks to the drivers and especially Michael for an incredible performance," said Montezemolo

Beating the likes of BMW, Honda, Jaguar and Mercedes in every area gives the whole Ferrari outfit a massive boost and Ferrari's President is delighted that even after winning titles in the past the drive to remain at the top has never faltered and results keep coming and coming.

“This has been an incredible year because we have been up against the biggest car companies in the world and we have beaten them in terms of technology, organisation and reliability and this is caused for great satisfaction. We are proud to have been able to continue working with determination, investing and improving even after we won the Constructors’ title in 1999. Now we have reached what has truly been a record year which will probably be impossible to repeat”.
