"Today however, the car was perfect. I am very happy with the work carried out with my race engineer, Gabriele Delli Colli. I also have to say that this win is down to the fact that these days I am a different person, calmer, more positive and determined.”

"I did not talk to the guys on the pit wall until the second pit stop," continued Rubens. "They just told me not to push too hard, so as not to hurt the tyres, brakes and engine, given that we had a considerable lead. I therefore tried to stay calm, while knowing that the win is never in the bag until after the flag. Michael congratulated me and said that I drove a great race. I have to say that winning and giving the team a one-two finish is really magnificent."
