Ferrari once again crush the opposition

Well what a great weekend to be a Ferrari fan, and even better if you are a Barrichello fan! Rubens fully deserved his second career win and he won the race by beating Michael Schumacher on his home track!

Naturally the anti-Ferrari brigade are keen to harm Ferrari as usual they were all crying about Ferrari’s team orders in Austria and now they are crying about them at the Nurburgring, shame their teams wont ever be in a position to use such orders in the near future and until they are then they should refrain from talking about what they know nothing about. I see the British press are saying that Ferrari let Rubens Barrichello win just to look good for the FIA hearing on Wednesday, what bullshit this group of media talk and Ferrari did not let Rubens win – Rubens won all by himself.

After his great start and full commitment into turn 1 Barrichello was never to look back and go on to beat Michael Schumacher in a race that lasted until the second round of pit-stops, the Brazilian even forcing a rare error from the German is something to prove how fast he was on Sunday. And now we hear sayings that Michael could have passed at any time, well yes he could have if team orders asked Rubens to move, but they never and Schumi never had the pace to pass Rubens on the track. Yes he caught him but never could he had passed unless a mistake was made by Rubens, but no mistakes and a perfect race from the Samba King who was delightful on the podium once again.

The performance of Williams has to be hurting their small group of fans, after their bold predictions pre-season and bold predictions prior to this race they have once again been humiliated by a far superior team, and for them to see McLaren now right on their heels must be a bitter blow. Montoya once again proved he is in no way championship material his swerving and blocking of Michael has not gone un-noticed by the Tifosi even if the un-biased media seems to have ignored it! Imagine the roles were reversed then would it be mentioned? As for his tangle with Coulthard, well toys out of the pram is quite appropriate for his actions, a very bad loser is this Colombian who will not go far in this sport at all with these sort of displays.

So now the biggest thing for Ferrari to worry about is this pathetic FIA hearing in Paris tomorrow. Why are Ferrari asked to explain themselves when they have broken no rules? The FIA are making noises and that’s all they can do as no action can be taken on Ferrari for winning the race in a fully legal manner. As for the podium well who actually cares about it and who cares if the winner is on the no2 position? Hardly a massive crime!

All this hearing is going to do is shed more bad light onto Ferrari, when they get no punishment as they rightly deserve, we shall hear the usual “FIA love Ferrari, Ferrari pay FIA, Ferrari favouritism” comments in the media and on our forum. Yet if they punish Ferrari then it won’t be enough, never would it be enough. So the losers tomorrow will be Ferrari and for what? For winning a race with a 1-2 finish! As I said this hearing is pathetic and wasting the time of Ferrari.

So the British GP is next up, and Schumi can be sure of a hot reception from the yobs that attend this race pretending to be F1 fans, so any Tifosi going please make sure you cheer our boys all the way and don’t let the bastards get you down!

Forza Ferrari

Ed’s note: The views and opinions expressed in this article are in no way those of Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro who fully understand the role of the FIA in the sport and will be happy to explain their actions in the Austrian GP to the FIA hearing on Wednesday.
