So it’s onto Silverstone for the Ferrari team and the anti-MS crowd awaits his arrival. After the British media and TV have worked the team orders at Austria for all its worth the Ferrari team will be given the usual British F1 fans welcome, who cares though?

Michael Schumacher will off course still be hated by these so called fans that attend this race, but he shall also have a large support to cheer him over the weekend. And after his conservative approach to the race last season when Mika Hakkinen won for McLaren the world champion will probably take much pleasure from winning this race in style, so we can expect him to be going all out on the attack from opening practice to Sunday’s race.
The only real threat to Michael these days is his team mate Rubens Barrichello. The Brazilian is going to be on a high after his win at the Nurburgring, it was Barrichello’s second career win after his maiden success at German 2000 and he will be hoping to continue his great form and once again take the challenge to Schumacher and move himself further up the standings in the driver’s title.
Silverstone is not usually a good track for Ferrari, but the F2002 has already shown it can win where the F2001 failed to win, so the Ferrari team are heading here full of confidence and with a new enhanced engine. Ferrari may be leading the titles by a large margin but the development of the F2002 continues to arrive and will continue to punish our rivals. As we are in Britain it would be nice to see some rain on race day, just to see how the F2002 drives in the wet, and just to see how good JPM is as well!
