Eddie Irvine is something of a Ferrari expert, well he is if you consider the amount of talking about Ferrari he has done this week. Now the Jaguar driver has turned his attention to the Austrian GP where he puts the blame of the team orders scandal firmly to blame on Barrichello.

"I used to receive team orders so that Michael could gain extra points if I was ahead but I never made it as obvious as Rubens,” Eddie said. “I would develop a brake problem 10 laps before the finish and no one was any the wiser. Rubens knew the score but he only pulled up to let Michael by when they were yards from the chequered flag. That caused the problem but it also worked in his favour because he was looked on as the innocent party."
Eddie is off course right, it would have been better for Rubens to move earlier but times are different at Ferrari when compared to his time. He had signed a no2 contract and readily admitted he is not good enough to challenge Michael and cant beat him. Rubens on the other hand has never signed such a contract and never admitted he cant beat Michael so its quite a different situation..
