Damon Hill (some of you might remember him) has been telling the world about how he has been watching Michael Schumacher and has decided that he can sense he is going to retire at the end of the season, quite how Hill comes to this conclusion is a mystery but anyway he tells us that Michael is no longer motivated or interested in winning races. So once again Michael has to deny these malicious rumours and state the obvious, that he is not retiring now, the end of the season or anytime soon.

"I didn't know Damon wanted to come back and for me to retire," said Schumacher. "Everybody knows he is my best friend so he should know what I'm doing very well. But you get things like this. It's tiring to hear them all the time."

Ross Brawn was also amused at the claims by Hill, wondering how such a distant person to Michael could come to such conclusion. "Damon is obviously very close to Michael," joked Brawn in another obvious reference to the fact the two men were the best of enemies during their time on the track. I cannot imagine him stopping for a while yet. He is now reaping the rewards of his investment in the team over the last few years. It's hard to imagine he would have any reason to stop. From what I see, Michael can carry on for many years."
