Rubens Barrichello starts tomorrow’s race from the front row, alongside pole sitter Juan Pablo Montoya. The Brazilian set his quickest time on his third run during a really nail-biting session, with the two Ferrari men and Montoya fighting out for pole to the nearest hundredths of a second.

“I am confident for the race. The car is very good and the tyres are fantastic, practically perfect,” continued the Brazilian. “For sure the grand prix will be interesting and I think it will be a fight between us and Montoya, but Ralf and the two McLarens could also be in the hunt. It will be interesting to see how the race develops. The weather could be different tomorrow,” said Barrichello. “So we will have to try and make the most of every advantage we gain strategically.”
