Bernie not impressed with Silverstone changes

FIA Supremo Bernie Ecclestone has slammed the Silverstone circuit for their lack of road signs and signs inside the circuit. Bernie was impressed with the new access roads but is not happy with the insides of the circuit, hinting that Silverstone may well be consigned to the history of F1.

“They have appeared to have made changes, the roads were done by the government the rest has not changed at all. It’s nice for the VIP’s but for the public it is chaos. They have no signs and nobody knows where they are, where they have been or where they have to go.”

When asked about how the Silverstone circuit fits in with the history of the sport Ecclestone hinted that the circuit may well be history soon. “It belongs in the history of the sport. As a venue it is worst than the rest of the races and it is no better than any of them.”
