BMW’s Gerhard Berger has heaped praise on four times world champion Michael Schumacher. Berger who has also driven for Ferrari in the past has said that the level of experience Schumacher now has is awesome and cannot be underestimated.

“The trouble is Juan does not have the same level of experience as Michael. In terms of talent, he and Ralf are more or less on the same level. We’ve seen already that they can race with the Ferraris,” Berger said..

“But Michael has the experience that comes with winning four world championships and 60 grands prix. It is not only how much he is winning but how long he has been doing it for.”

"The success he has had is unbelievable. And he has done it over such a long time, continuous success. It is not just the materials he has to work with - it is how he is in himself. He does a fantastic job on and off the circuit, motivating his people and leading them in the right direction."
