"I am very happy for Michael, a fantastic driver that really deserves all the glory he is going through", said Burti. Luciano Burti went on to comment about the experience he is getting that comes with being part of a massive team like Ferrari. And how when he sees the race drivers winning on track he can feel he too played his part in the win with his extensive testing.

"Everyone here works hard for everything to go right during the race and I am happy to be part of this team. I know that Michael’s victory is mine too. Rubens, Badoer and myself have worked hard for this to come true. Now we have to fight for the Constructors Championship.”

Michael Schumacher recently praised Burti for all his hard work in testing, and the Brazilian was keen to repay that compliment by thanking those around him who have made his time at Ferrari so enjoyable to him.

"I was very happy with Michael’s words thanking me for the work I have done. I cannot forget to thank Jean Todt, Ross Brown, Luca di Montezemolo and all of Bridgetone’s team for what they have said about my hard work.”
